Our Code Free Toshiba SD-K760 DVD player features ColorStream Pro® Progressive Scan Component Video Outputs for enhanced color purity and image detail. DivX Home Theater Certified allows playback of DivX, AVI and MPEG4 (.ASF) compressed files downloaded from the internet from a personal computer and stored on a CD-R/RW. The convenient JPEG Photo Viewer enables users to seamlessly display digital photographs from disc onto their televisions. Play back MP3 and WMA files effortlessly from compatible CD-R and CD-RW discs. Virtual Surround Sound recreates dynamic multi channel surround sound from two stereo speakers. Code free modified to play discs from any region: 1,2,3,4,5 and 6. BUilt-in PAL->NTSC converter allows playback of PAL DVD discs on any American (NTSC) TV.

Digital Cinema Progressive (3:2 Pulldown)
Delivers the smoothest, most film-like images to any progressive scan television, such as an HD-compatible one, and ensures maximum resolution.

Enhanced Picture Mode
You can engage one of two picture enhancements with the E.P.M. (Enhanced Picture Mode) button on the remote. Brightness and Sharpness can each be adjusted between 0 and 16.

DivX Home Theater Certified
allows playback of DivX (.div/.dvix). AVI and MPEG4 (.ASF) compressed files downloaded from the internet from a personal computer and stored on a CD-R/-RW. The support extends to full version of DivX 3.11, 4.12 and 5x as well as DivX PRO, with video resolutions of 720 x 480 @30 fps and 720 x 576 @25 fps. Audio support for a multitude of formats including: MP3, AC-3 (2 ch and 5.1 ch), WMA, LCPM, ADPCM and Ogg Vorbis.

JPEG Viewer

ColorStream Pro Component Video Output
These outputs allow the video signal to be sent from the DVD player to a component video equipped interlaced or progressive scan TV. When this connection is utilized with today's HD-compatible sets, typical NTSC artifacts-like video noise, dot crawl, and flicker-are virtually eliminated, resulting in a low-noise, highly detailed picture with unequaled color purity.

Coaxial Digital Audio Output
Sends the audio signal to an audio/video receiver in its digital form allowing access to the Dolby Digital /dts track encoded on the DVD disc.

Convenience Features

Digital Picture Zoom
This interactive DVD feature allows you to select an area of the picture you want to zoom in on and magnify it. Enhanced digital processing during moving video or freeze-frame playback produces superior color fidelity and resolution, even when you’re zoomed in. Also can be used to expand letterbox-only films to increase the viewable area on-screen.

Screen Saver
The player can be set to automatically go into a screen saver mode after several minutes of inactivity. While in this mode, the Toshiba DVD logo appears and "ping-pongs" across the screen. Many movies will display the main movie menu indefinitely after the movie has ended. If left onscreen for a prolonged period, burn-in on the TV screen may result without this feature.

Slow Motion Playback
The SD-3980 will play in slow motion in 3 forward speeds: 1/2x, 1/4x, 1/8x. It cannot play in reverse slow motion.

Fast Reverse/Forward
This unit will play in fast forward or fast reverse in 4 speeds each. You can playback at 2x, 8x, 30x or 100x normal speed. During fast scanning, the audio and subtitles are muted.

Picture Zoom
The Zoom feature allows you to get an increasingly close-up view of the image. Each press of the Zoom button increases the magnification to Zoom 1, Zoom 2 ,or Zoom 3. You can also move the zoomed image around the screen.

Parental Lock Function
You can select a parental control rating from 0-8, which is protected by a 4-digit password.
